Councillor Les Bunn OAM JP (Qual)
A resident of Mount Isa for the past 30 years, Les
was sworn in as a Councillor on 7 April 2004.
He has a professional background in Mechanical
Engineering and Logistics, with experience in the
RAAF and large and small business management.
Les is also voluntarily involved in TAFE, NQ Area
Consultative Committee, NWQ Defence Reserve
Support Council, Mount Isa Community Adult
Literacy Group, ISA SKILLS, Rural Industries
Training and Extension Inc, Mount Isa Rugby
Union, Western Qld Justice Network, RSL, Blue
Triangle Association (Ex-RAAF Apprentices),
Crime Stoppers and Rotary.
He is a qualified
Justice of the Peace.
Les and wife Gwen have a
son and daughter and 4 grandchildren. |
